Background
ACC Aviation recently partnered with a travel management company to provide air charter solutions for an offshore drilling company. The client needed to move crew members as quickly as possible from Aberdeen to Haugesund, Norway, for a vessel refurbishment project.
Challenge
The charter flights needed to be arranged at short notice and with very limited aircraft capable of operating the flight, posing a challenge in locating suitable options. ACC Aviation’s charter team worked closely with the client to identify suitable aircraft and to secure the necessary approvals.
Our solution
Eight charter flights were arranged, each with 20-25 passengers. The flights were operated by a variety of carriers, and a dedicated account manager was assigned to liaise with each operator to ensure that all flights adhered to the schedule.
