ACC Aviation was appointed by a travel management company (TMC), on behalf of an international financial services client, to organise and coordinate a personnel shuttle from Newark and Chicago to a new office in Palm Beach.
As the office was opened during the COVID-19 pandemic, safety and efficiency were paramount. The client asked for both aircraft, departing from Newark and Chicago, to arrive into Palm Beach at similar times, enabling staff to begin work with minimal delays. Each group consisted of around 100 passengers.
Leveraging its partner network, ACC Aviation worked with two airlines and sourced two Boeing 737s to accommodate the passengers and ensure social distancing on board. To guarantee the seamless coordination of each flight, ACC produced an in-depth operation brief that was shared with the end client and TMC. Teams from ACC were present at the airport in Newark and Palm Beach to provide coordination on the ground. A private terminal was arranged to expedite the check-in process and keep the personnel at a safe distance from other travellers. The client was kept informed throughout the process, and the ACC team remained available 24/7.
ACC organised and coordinated a total of ten flights from Chicago and Newark to Palm Beach, all completed with zero disruption. Following the program’s success, ACC has been asked to support the client with their upcoming travel requirements in 2022.
