ACC Aviation is pleased to announce the successful completion of a significant independent aircraft asset monitoring assignment on behalf of a leading international aviation finance institution.
The engagement involved the ongoing technical oversight of a portfolio of next-generation commercial aircraft financed by the institution, with ACC Aviation providing independent assessments of aircraft condition, maintenance activity, operational status and emerging technical risks throughout the monitoring period. The assignment included physical aircraft inspections, technical records reviews, maintenance oversight, operator engagement and the delivery of regular asset monitoring reports designed to support informed credit and risk management decisions.
Unlike traditional pre-purchase inspections, the engagement focused on preserving collateral value throughout the financing lifecycle. By combining technical expertise with commercial asset management, ACC Aviation provided independent oversight of maintenance events, operational developments and asset condition, enabling the financier to proactively monitor risk while protecting long-term asset value.
As aviation financing continues to evolve, lenders, lessors and institutional investors are placing greater emphasis on independent technical monitoring to enhance portfolio visibility and strengthen collateral management. ACC Aviation’s expanding asset management platform supports financiers throughout the entire asset lifecycle from acquisition due diligence and technical inspections through to ongoing portfolio monitoring, lease transitions, remarketing and disposal.
Tristan Brouard, Associate Director at ACC Aviation, commented: “Independent technical oversight has become an increasingly important component of aviation finance. Our role is to provide clients with objective, commercially focused advice that enables them to understand the technical condition of their assets, identify emerging risks early and protect long-term collateral value. This assignment reflects the confidence that aviation financiers continue to place in ACC Aviation’s technical and asset management capabilities.”
The assignment further reinforces ACC Aviation’s position as an independent aviation consultancy supporting banks, export credit agencies, leasing companies, private credit funds and institutional investors with technical advisory, asset management and aviation finance services across commercial aircraft and engine portfolios.
